Detailed Structural Assessment and Seismic strengthening for a 2 storey precast panel building by installation of series of steel cross bracing elements. Highlight of the design – worked with constraint of spaces and time also consideration of the aesthetic aspect of the bracing elements.
Canterbury Region
Cephas Rock has been engaged to perform visual and invasive inspection of minimum 4000 buildings (to-date) to identify any damage(s), direct or consequential, caused by the Canterbury earthquake events. We also provided a qualitative report on the structural implications of any damage(s) observed and advice on suitable repair methods.
Cephas Rock has been engaged to carry out the whole package of structural design for residential repair/rebuild at least on 1500 buildings in New Zealand. The scope of work included:
